Voting Information

The yellow sheet in your registration packet envelope can be used to help you remember your votes as you walk around the show.

All votes must be submitted via the BRITFEST online ballot to be counted.

You can use your Android or iPhone smartphone, or a tablet (or laptop) at the HELP DESK to submit your votes.

If you have difficulty, a club member at the HELP DESK will be happy to assist you.


VOTING RULES

    1. Votes will be submitted via the official Myrtle Beach BRITFEST online ballot.
    2. Registrants can use a personal Android or iPhone smartphone, or a computer tablet at the HELP DESK to access the ballot and submit your votes.
    3. Directions to access the online ballot are in your registration packet on a yellow sheet of paper.
    4. All ballots are anonymous.
    5. Each registered vehicle that attends Myrtle Beach BRITFEST is eligible to vote, one ballot per vehicle.
    6. All ballots must include a 6 DIGIT BALLOT NUMBER. The 6 DIGIT BALLOT NUMBER is printed on a yellow sheet of paper in each registration envelope.
    7. All ballots are considered submitted when the online SUBMIT button is clicked with no error messages.
    8. All ballots are final when submitted and cannot be changed or withdrawn.
    9. Ballots will be accepted after all same-day vehicle registrations are recorded by the Registrar. An announcement that ballots can be accepted will be made on the PA system shortly after 11:00 am.
    10. Ballots submitted after 1:30 pm will not be counted. Several announcements will be made on the PA system prior to the submission deadline.
    11. Ballots from pre-registered vehicles that do not attend the show will not be counted.
    12. Votes for pre-registered vehicles that do not attend the show will not be counted.
    13. After a ballot has been submitted, a ballot subsequently submitted with the same 6 DIGIT BALLOT NUMBER will not be counted for security reasons.
    14. In the event of a tie vote for any Class or Special Award, the vehicle that was registered earliest as recorded in the Master Book of Registrations will be declared the winner (i.e., the lowest Entry # for that Class or Special Award among the tied vehicles).
    15. For purposes of breaking a tie: (a) for registrations submitted online, the date and time of the online registration form submission will be used, or (b) for paper registrations that are mailed to the BRITFEST Registrar, the USPS postmark will be used as its date and time of registration.
    16. If the earliest time of registration results in a tie, then the tied vehicles shall be declared winners for the award.
    17. Breaking a tie for first place may affect second and third place results.
    18. Breaking a tie for second place may affect third place results.
    19. Class 33 British Motorcycles, Class 34 British Replicas and Class 35 Non-British Import of Special Interest are not eligible for the My Favorite British Car special award.
    20. Prior year My Favorite Car special award winner is ineligible to win the My Favorite Car special award this year for the same car.
    21. MG vehicles in Classes 02, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 32 are eligible for the My Favorite MG special award.
